NEET Kerala State Quota 2021: Seats, Participating Colleges, Syllabus, Eligibility, Cutoff and Counselling

The admission process of Kerala will be conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Thiruvananthapuram. NEET Seat Matrix is the number of seats available in various Private and Government Medical and Dental Colleges of the state. Counselling and Admission Process of Kerala NEET :

The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Thiruvananthapuram will be conducting the Counselling and Admission process of Kerala.

The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala will release the NEET cutoff Kerala for state quota seats, while Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the cutoff for All India Quota seats.

Based on the Kerala MBBS state merit rank, students will be called for the counselling process. The authority will conduct the Kerala MBBS counselling process in two rounds. Counselling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from the merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.

So now Let’s take a quick view of the whole process of counselling :

Registration -

Firstly, interested candidates will be required to register online at www.mcc.nic.in. A link to fill the registration form will be made available on this page as and when it is released. In this step, candidates will be required to submit their Roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on their NEET rank letter.

Counselling Fee Payment -

In order to successfully register and be considered eligible for the counselling process, candidates must pay a refundable and a non-refundable fee within the stipulated time period. The fee can be paid only through an online medium by Credit/Debit card or internet banking.

Exercising & Locking Choices -

After successful registration, candidates must fill the choice of course and give preferences of the college/institute they wish to get admission into. While filling the references, a list of colleges will be displayed which can be used as a reference while filling web options. There is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill. After adding the choices in the list, candidates can change the sequence by moving them up or down, interchange choices and delete choices. It is advisable to lock the choices because if the admission seekers have not locked their choices then the saved choices can get locked automatically. If there are no saved choices then it has been considered that candidates have not selected any choices and as a result will not be considered at the time of NEET seat allotment for round two.

Seat Allotment List -

After each round of counselling, the seat allotment results will be declared. NEET counselling result, released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter, will disclose the seat allotted to the candidates. Candidates can check their name, roll no., allotted category, candidates’ category, allotted college, quota and course in the NEET seat allotment list. The seat allotment letter is an important document which needs to be carried at the time of reporting to the allotted college with other mandatory documents.

Documents Required for Admission :

Candidates are required to bring the following valid original documents along with one set of attested copies at the time of admission without which his/her candidature will not be considered:-

i) High School Certificate and Marksheet.

ii) Intermediate Mark sheet and Certificate.

iii) Four passport size photographs as pasted in the NEET application form.

iv) Domicile Certificate, if applicable.

v) Minority certificate, if applicable.

vi) NEET Admit Card

vii) NEET Scorecard.

viii) ID Proof.

ix) Permanent Caste Certificate.

x) Passing certificate of having studied from Class 6 to 12 from an institution in the state.

xi) Income certificate if claiming fee exemption.

xiv) Certificate of physical disability, as applicable.

xv) Valid birth certificate.

NEET Cutoff 2021

Only those candidates who will be scoring marks equal to or more than the NEET 2021 cutoff will be invited to participate in the counselling process. The cutoff of NEET 2021 will be released along with the result. For each category, the cutoff percentile is different. For reference, candidates can check the NEET cutoff of previous along with cutoff score and the number of candidates who achieved the respective percentile in the table below.
