NEET 2021 | NEET Seat Intake of all the states and union territories
The admission process of Puducherry will be conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee, Puducherry. Seat Matrix is the number of seats available in various Private and Government Medical and Dental Colleges of the state. On the basis of marks obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, students will be granted admission to medical and dental colleges under 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% seats in all government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota candidates.
CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus from Class IX to XII and this could also have an impact on the syllabus of NEET 2021. Qualifying Marks for NEET 2021
As per NEET eligibility criteria 2021, candidates must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in the qualifying examination which is 10+2 or equivalent.
Unreserved category candidates must have scored a minimum required percentage of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates should have scored a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
Persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs must have secured a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
NEET Eligibility Criteria 2021 - 15% All India Quota seats/Deemed Universities/Central Universities/ESIC and AFMC Colleges
NEET 2021 qualified candidates can apply for the 15% All India Quota seats, 100% of the seats in Deemed universities as well as Central Universities, ESIC and AFMC as well. This counseling will be conducted at an All India level by MCI.
J&K candidates are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats unless they have filled a self-declaration form to be submitted along with the NEET 2021 application form. This self-declaration form denotes that the candidate wishes to participate in the counseling for 15% All India Quota seats and would forgo the home state counseling in return. Such candidates will be eligible for the seats of Deemed Universities, ESIC and AFMC colleges.
The allotment for 85% seats of DU will be open to candidates who have completed Class 10 and 12 from Delhi while the Institutional Quota seats of AMU will be exclusively for AMU students only.
NEET Eligibility Criteria 2021 - 85% State Quota seats
The 85% state quota seats mean seats in all government colleges of the states/union territories respectively. Counseling for such seats will be conducted by the respective state authorities. To apply for state quota seats, candidates must fulfill the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria laid down by each state or union territory authority and include domicile, conditions too
Admission to private medical and dental colleges will also be subject to the policies of the State/ Union Territory.

Centralized Admission Committee, Puducherry is the authority that will be conducting the Counselling and Admission process of Puducherry.
Puducherry NEET Counselling and seat allotment of all Puducherry MBBS/BDS Colleges will soon be conducted through online process. It is anticipated to commence from the month of June, Centralised Entrance Committee Authorities of Puducherry will announce the Puducherry NEET counseling to get the state quota candidates. Admission to the dental and medical colleges of Puducherry is going to probably likely soon be offered on the basis of NEET score.
Counseling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.
So now Let’s take a quick view of the whole process of counseling:
Registration -
Firstly, interested candidates will be required to register online at www.mcc.nic.in. A link to fill the registration form will be made available on this page as and when it is released. In this step, candidates will be required to submit their Roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on their NEET rank letter.
Counseling Fee Payment -
In order to successfully register and be considered eligible for the counseling process, candidates must pay a refundable and a non-refundable fee within the stipulated time period. The fee can be paid only through an online medium by Credit/Debit card or internet banking.
Exercising & Locking Choices -
After successful registration, candidates must fill the choice of course and give preferences of the college/institute they wish to get admission into. While filling the references, a list of colleges will be displayed which can be used as a reference while filling web options. There is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill. After adding the choices in the list, candidates can change the sequence by moving them up or down, interchange choices and delete choices. It is advisable to lock the choices because if the admission seekers have not locked their choices then the saved choices can get locked automatically. If there are no saved choices then it has been considered that candidates have not selected any choices and as a result, will not be considered at the time of NEET seat allotment for round two.
Seat Allotment List -
After each round of counseling, the seat allotment results will be declared. NEET counseling result, released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter, will disclose the seat allotted to the candidates. Candidates can check their name, roll no., allotted category, candidates’ category, allotted college, quota and course in the NEET seat allotment list. The seat allotment letter is an important document that needs to be carried at the time of reporting to the allotted college with other mandatory documents.

NEET Cutoff 2021
Only those candidates who will be scoring marks equal to or more than the NEET 2021 cutoff will be invited to participate in the counseling process. The cutoff of NEET 2021 will be released along with the result. For each category, the cutoff percentile is different. For reference, candidates can check the NEET cutoff of previous along with the cutoff score and the number of candidates who achieved the respective percentile in the table below.
