How is ozone produced in stratosphere?
Ozone in stratosphere is a product of action of UV-radiations on dioxygen (O

) molecules. The UV radiation splits apart molecular oxygen into free oxygen atoms. These oxygen atoms combine with the molecular oxygen to form ozone.
